Mrs. Oliver is from Great Falls, Virginia and a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Music Technology, Electric and Computer Engineering. She is also currently seeking her masters in Elementary Education from August State University. What draws Mrs. Oliver to education is the opportunity to spread authentic learning experiences to as many students as possible in order to promote equity in the world of STEM and to challenge students to accomplish things they didn’t think were possible.

Amongst MACS High5Habits; Kindness, Determination, Integrity, Compassion, & Wonder – wonder resonates the most with Ms. Oliver, “for me, wonder looks like trying new and challenging things with my scholars and always reflecting on how we can make something better.” In Oliver’s spare time, you can find her playing sports (volleyball, ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, etc.), playing piano, singing, crafting, and hiking with her two dogs.
